Just a Few Friends December Blog Hop:
Snow Globe Ornament"Hi and welcome to my den. I can't believe December is here. That means it's the PURRfect time to celebrate many winter holidays. Whether you POUNCING around to prepare for Hunnukah, Christmas or Kwanzaa, it is an awesome time to be surrounded by family and friends. I just love the "appearance" of fresh falling snow, house decorated in festive lights, and of course the Christmas trees and all the trimmings.
Speaking of trees with trimmings, today along with the rest of the PRIDE of Just a Few Friends, I have created a Christmas Ornament. My family would not allow me to put up my traditional shabby chic pink and cream ornaments and ribbons. So this year, I am going with a silver and blue theme which totally welcomes winter. It is so beautiful and actually a rather refreshing change of pace.
I have created an ornament that I think would look lovely on the tree. Here are a few pics.
Here is a video giving an overview of the elements used:
I purchase the clear ornament from Michael's.
On the inside: The image is from a 12x12 Christmas paper stack from KandCompany. My sister gifted me the large flaked glitter sometime ago, I have finally found a good use for it. Finally, I used a Martha Stewart pounch to add the little snowflakes inside.
On the outside: I added some 4inch wide lace, ribbons, and I Am Roses flowers to frame it all out. I think it is absolutey PURRfect for our tree. I hope you like my creation... but there is sooooo much more to see.
