We're Sassy and We Know It: Meet Bobot Pearl Day Two

Hello Everyone,
Today is day two of Elsa's stamp release. You know Elsa from Just a Few Designs. On yesterday Elsa and the  Sassy 6 shared stamps that Elsa personally designed and had turned into beautiful stamps. Today we are at it  again. I would like you to meet Bobot Pearl. She is apart of a very special stamp set inspired by Elsa's grandson. When he was younger, he struggled with the r sound like most toddlers. Instead of the "r" in robot he would say bobot. So Elsa has a complete line of Bobot stamps you will enjoy. Below is Bobot Pearl. She is so darling. I colored her with my Specturm Noir markers. I chose to color her in pink and purple to match her youthfulness. Soft flowers add to her angelic appearance.

Bobot Pearl is such a  super cute and fun stamp to color and design with. She will be available for sale on Elsa's blog on tomorow June 22nd. Please show Elsa some love. If you purchase a stamp on tomorrow, you will be entered into my giveaway to win a Sizzix die below.

Please enjoy the remainder of the hop. Please visit each room in the mansion and see what everyone is up to. If you are going in order you should have came here from Michelle's blog. Now head on over to Yvette's room to see which stamp she had the pleasure of adding to her card. I'll meet you over there. Blessings to you all.

We 're Sassy and We Know It: Elsa's New Stamp Release Day 1

The wait is finally over. I am so happy to share with you something that I have been itchy to share. I am so excited to announce that Elsa from Just a Few Designs is releasing her first stamp set. Guys they are absolutely sassy and stunning. Elsa personally designed an amazing collection of stamps that are sure to please. I am going to show you two stamps that I had the pleasure of playing with. Today I would like to introduce Leigh Lou. She is so beautiful. She reminded me of a beautiful woodland fairy.  So I created a garden themed card for her. I hope you like it.

Also, here is a video explaining how the card came together.

The size of the stamp is 3 1/2 inches. Very easy to color and so versatile. Elsa did an outstanding job designing her.

Please visit my blog again on tomorrow to meet Bobot Pearl. I will tell you more about her tomorrow. Then on June 22nd, you can visit Elsa's blog channel (listed below) to purchase your stamps. For everyone who makes a purchase on day one of sales, you will be entered into my small giveaway to win a Hello Kitty Sizzix die. You can choose from the following two dies.

Thanks for stopping by the mansion to meet these Sassy chicks. To see the other sassy stamps, as well as meet the other ladies in the mansion, please visit the blogs below.

JustaFewFriends Father's Day Hop

Yes, it's time to highlight the men in our lives. The wonderful husbands and fabulous fathers. The den has been prowling around craft spaces looking for the perfect papers, images, stamps and sentiments to show our leading men just how special they are to us.
Before, I share my card, I just need to make sure you all came  here from Michelle's  blog. If not, please start at the beginning with Elsa and go in order. We don't want you to miss out on some awesome cards that are sure to impress and serve as inspiration. If you are in the right place. Perfect!!

Now,  about my card.  I pounced right over to my favorite guy line of paper which is the "Proper Gentlemen" by Graphic 45.  The paper is so beautiful and speaks volumes all on its own. Which is great for me, because on a guy card, I was a bit hesistant to add lace, flowers, pearls, and all the other girly embellishment I tend to use. This card however, is very understated, classy, and of course masculine. I think hubby will love it. I didn't embellish it much. Just a faux metal frame  that I will later add hubby's photo, and black ribbon. I do intend to put a button on it in the lower right corner of the sentiment stamp, but none of the buttons I had in my stash would do. So I will be going on the prowl for the perfect button to finish off the card. The sentiment on the outside of the card reads: " A father is someone who listens with his heart, speaks with his hugs, and teaches not by words but by example"  Unknown author. I thought that was the perfect sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the words "Happy Father's Day" sideways to match the orientation on the cover. Plus it allows more room to write a personal message to my hubby.

Above is a video for your pleasure. Now hop on over to Yvette's channel to see what she has created for Father's Day.

JustAFewFriends Mother's Day Hop

I am so happy to be pouncing around my den looking for goodies to create the perfect project for my Mom. Mom loves the romantic colors of red, black and white combined. As with all ladies, she loves flowers, pearls, and lace. And no woman can go without bling right.

Okay before I share the project I need to ask if you have been prowling the dens in order. You should have pounced over here from Michelle's channel. If not scurry on back to Elsa's Channel and make your way through the dens in order.

So for this hop, we were to create or alter a box for Mother's Day. The box could be any style, shape, size, or material. I had the Purrfect idea for this wonderful woman who has taught me everything (except how to cook, I must have been playing jump rope when she was giving out lessons).  I wanted this project to make her blush when ever she reached for it. I think she will, because it 100% her style. Please check out the video link below to see what I have created. I apologize but, I can't upload pics tonight, but the short video clip will work just as well. Once you have finished watching the video, please pounce  on over to the next person in the line up to see what they have been up to for thier dear sweet moms. If you started with me, please head on back to our den mother Elsa and follow the line up in order. You don't want to miss a single amazing project. Enjoy the video and Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's and single dad's out their Smoochies.

Just a Few Friends Easter Basket Hop

Happy March everyone!! To all my fellow Christians...Happy Ressurection Day.This is such a PURRFECT time of year. I love the idea of spring being connected to the resurrection. Everything is coming back to life, the newness of the season as well as the return of our Lord and Savior who lives within. It's also a wonderful time to rid ourselves of past hurt, frustrations, disappoints, etc. Let's spring clean and resurrect ourselves to having a new beginning.

I had trouble with this project a bit because I didn't need a basket for Easter. I have a son, and well, let's just say my style of designing will not go over well with him. I purchased him a soccer ball basket months ago. I decided to create a basket for myself, but load it with books that teaches my son about our Lord and Savior. Neo loves to read and be read to, so the contents are great for us all, but the basket is all mine. LOL!

So after hours of PROWLING around in my den, looking for items for my project,  I decided to go with a shabby chic theme,(no surprise) because that's my favorite design style and I think I am pretty good at it. I started with a basic natural wicker basket. I spray painted it pale pink and then lined it with an old curtain I found in the closet that doesn't fit any of the windows in our home. The lace was just too pretty to be hiding in the back of the closet, so I gave it a new life. I also used a fabric floral spray that came off of a  child's dress I bought at goodwill last year. I loved the lace on the dress and will one day use it in a project. Next, I add some sparkly tool, silver and pink beads, I am roses flowers, and bloomer flowers to the sides. Finally, a few eggs and books that teaches about our Lord and Savior and it is complete. I plan to find a book that specifically teaches the resurrection in terminology young children can understand. Closer to Easter, the eggs will be filled with goodies, scriptures, and intrinsic rewards for Neo such as a trip to the bowling alley, go watch the airplanes take off, dinner of your choice, etc.

I hope you enjoy my little faith based, shabby chic basket.  Now pounce on over to Violets channel to see what she is up to. Remember if you started with me, go back to Elsa and start at the beginning. You don't want to miss out on any wonderful projects.

Have a safe and wonderful Easter everyone.

Youtube video sharing the process.

Please POUNCE on through the line up and see what purrfect projects the rest of the den has created.

Shabby Chic Wall Plaque

I just love anything shabby chic. I want to create a sitting room that surrounds me with lace, pearls, vintage trims, pale colors such as pink, green, white, and  creams. I love florals, diamonds and pearls. So I created this little plaque that has it all and plan to hang it in my future shabby chic sitting room. Enjoy the video.

Just a Few Friends Valentine Gift Bag Hop

Happy Valentines to all and thanks for visiting our February Hop! Just a Few Friends has been steadily working on creating and altering gift bags! We were challanged to create our project using the following colors...RED, PINK, BROWN, BLACK.

I chose the use pink as my main color (of course...you know me). I also used a hint of red and brown. I was recently gifted a muslin bag, so I decided to alter it for this project.
Check out the video of my project.

Sorry, I don't have  photos this month. My computer broke up with my iphone and now he won't  allow her to upload photos tonight. LOL.  Hopefully, they will get back together really soon. I'm tired of their drama. LOL!!!  Enjoy the video.
